The Ice app and Min Side, serving over a million customers.
Ice is Norway's challenger mobile operator, part of the Lyse group. Through Davoti Solutions I have worked with Lyse's self-service team on the Ice app and Min Side, the web self-service that over a million mobile customers use to manage their subscriptions.
Highlights include Vipps login for the app and Min Side, built as a reusable module other teams have since adopted, and SMS login that gives under-15s without BankID or Vipps safe access to a limited version of self-service.
Other work includes a redesigned eSIM ordering and activation flow, where adding push notifications significantly lifted activation rates, as well as native modules and home screen widgets in Swift and Kotlin.
Behind the scenes the team works contract-first with types and endpoints generated from OpenAPI, shares UI components between mobile and web, syncs design tokens from Figma, and ships through automated build, test and release pipelines with Expo Application Services and Maestro.
